Deleting your account from the app

1. Open Outpawtient and sign in to your account.

2. Settings → “Delete account and data”.

3. Tap “Create request” and confirm it.

4. After confirmation you have a week to change your mind: nothing is erased until that week is over, and the request can be cancelled in the same screen. When the week passes, the deletion is carried out.

Deleting your account without the app

If you have already removed the app, write to [email protected] from the email address the account is registered to and say that you ask for your Outpawtient account to be deleted. We answer within a month, usually sooner.

The product has no password: sign-in works with a one-time code sent by email, so a message from your own address is what confirms the request is yours.

Deleting part of your data without deleting the account

These are deleted inside the app: a single document, a pet card, a weight entry, a medication, a vaccination, a timeline note, a reminder, a trip, and a vet or sitter link. Look for “Delete” on the entry you want gone.

If email is easier, write to [email protected] and name what should be removed.

What is deleted

The account itself and its membership in a family.

The cards of every pet in the family: names, species, breed, dates, chip numbers, weight, diagnoses, medications, vaccinations.

Uploaded documents and the files themselves — photos and clinic forms, along with the values extracted from them automatically.

The timeline, reminders, trips and checklist state, family invitations, and vet and sitter links.

Database rows are erased at once; the files are removed by a background service on its next pass.

What is kept, and for how long

A record of the erasure itself — its date and volume. It holds no content; it exists so the deletion can be proven. Kept indefinitely.

The internal device-synchronisation log — up to 90 days from the entry, then deleted automatically.

Subscription and payment events — the subscriber identifier and the facts of purchases and refunds. Kept as long as the stores’ accounting and tax rules require. We hold no payment details at all: payment happens entirely inside the App Store and Google Play.

Correspondence with support, if there was any, in the [email protected] mailbox.

Deleting an Outpawtient account does not cancel a subscription: subscriptions belong to the App Store and Google Play — cancel yours in the store’s settings.
